Job Description:

The Industry Assurance team in Cyber Growth runs the Assured Penetration Testing Scheme on behalf of a public sector client, which mandates or strongly recommends such testing across all departments and infrastructure.

The team assesses the methodology and work of all scheme members from application to completion. Members are supported to improve or, if necessary, are removed from the scheme.

We seek an experienced senior penetration tester responsible for quality assurance of other testers' output, ideally with operational experience. Experience as an assessor for a penetration testing exam body is also valuable.

Previous involvement with the Scheme is preferred but current contracts should be avoided to prevent conflicts of interest.

The candidate should also have experience as a senior member of an adversary simulation team, overseeing and quality assuring team outputs.

The role involves:

1. Sampling reports during the year to ensure compliance and technical capability.
2. Reviewing reports from new Team Leaders and providing coaching or remedial support as needed.
3. Handling new applications from companies wishing to join the Scheme.

Security Clearance (SC) is required.

The role is primarily remote (90%) with occasional meetings in Gloucestershire or London.
