Job Summary

Are you a physiotherapist with an interest or experience in pelvic health?

Have you completed B5 rotations through a range of specialties including MSK?

Are you looking for an opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills within pelvic health?

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust has been selected, as one of only 14 trusts in the country, to work with NHS England & Improvement to set up a new Perinatal Pelvic Health Service. As a result, our Pelvic Health Physiotherapy team is growing, and we are looking for a physiotherapist to join our team on a fixed-term basis for 12 months. This post will be based at Wexham Park Hospital.

Main Duties

We have a growing team of experienced physiotherapists and assistant practitioners who provide an evidence-based service. Advanced Practice Physiotherapists in the team offer expert advice and support. The service includes 1:1 appointments and a range of virtual and in-person groups and workshops with patients. There may be opportunities to supervise other staff and take on students.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to outpatients in Pelvic Health.
• Undertake specialist assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with complex or chronic Pelvic Health issues.
• Supervise and teach recently qualified physiotherapists, technicians, assistants, and students; participate in teaching MDT staff.
• Engage in CPD and departmental activities.
