We are looking for a physiotherapist who is wishing to take the next step in their career as part of our dynamic pelvic health physiotherapy department. This exciting fixed term contract offers you the opportunity to work in a large team with an excellent reputation.
As a specialist department, this is the ideal location for you if you want to build on your foundation skills and develop expert knowledge in specialisms from management of musculoskeletal problems in pregnancy to pelvic floor dysfunction.
Our work includes managing obstetric and gynae-oncology wards, musculoskeletal obstetric and pelvic floor dysfunction outpatient clinics, and classes including, core stability and a healthy pregnancy advice group.
We offer a rotational programme within the team with a strong induction programme for new starters and an ongoing focus on personal development. We offer a friendly, supportive and respectful environment where each team member strives hard to deliver first class, patient centred, and high quality care.
The post will give you the opportunity to build on and extend your clinical expertise and also develop your supervisory skills. Education and training are key elements of the department.
The applicant should have some experience of working in a pelvic health physiotherapy setting either at undergraduate or post qualification level. Being flexible and innovative in your ways of working will be fundamental to your role and good communication skills are essential. As a band six physiotherapist you will also be responsible for the mentoring and appraisal of other members of the team and physiotherapy students.
The successful post holder will rotate yearly between our sites. There is a commitment to the 5 days over 7 working rota (orthopaedic).
