Join to apply for the Pelvic Health Midwife role at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust

We have an exciting opportunity for a midwife with previous experience in perinatal pelvic health services in the UK to join our team.

About the Role: You will be part of the SEL perinatal pelvic health team (PPHS), working within GSTT and linking with other pelvic health physiotherapists and midwives across various maternity units in SEL. This small but dynamic team received an RCM award in 2023 for outstanding teamwork.

As the pelvic health midwife for GSTT, you will collaborate closely with maternity and physiotherapy departments. You will continue embedding perinatal pelvic health services, which were part of an early implementer pilot for this programme. This role involves prevention, identification and treatment of women with mild to moderate pelvic health dysfunction. You will work with the Clinical lead that provide virtual education classes, outpatient appointments in hospital and the community and reporting key metrics to our local maternity and neonatal system.

Why Join Us? It is an exciting time to join our team! You will build working relationships with our multidisciplinary teams and be an integral part of our wonderful midwifery team. There will be ample learning opportunities, not just in acquiring new pelvic health skills, but also in contributing to an innovative service that we know will enhance our patient experience.
