Job summary

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) is seeking a Peer and Involvement Coordinator to strengthen and grow our Peer Support Groups across Scotland. You will guide groups, link them with local services, and manage volunteers coordinating clusters of groups.

A positive attitude toward people with disabilities and long-term conditions is essential, as is a valid driving licence and access to a car. The role supports CHSS’s aim to expand peer participation and engagement, with flexible, homebased

Qualifications

• Must have a car and a current valid driving licence.
• Positive attitude towards people with disabilities and long-term conditions, with understanding of their challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support and build positive relationships with CHSS Peer Support Groups in your coordinator area.
• Provide advice and guidance to Peer Groups and connect them with relevant services and networks locally.
• Manage CHSS Peer Volunteers responsible for clusters of Peer Support Groups.
• Contribute to expanding the Peer Support network from 3,000 to 10,000 members by 2028.
