Job summary

Acorns Children's Hospice is looking for an Occupational Therapist and Therapies Lead to shape and develop our therapy services across the organisation. In this newly created role, you'll lead the therapy teams across Walsall, Worcester and Birmingham to ensure families receive compassionate care.

You will oversee OT assessments and interventions, support postural management and equipment, and help implement a vision for the AHP programme with strong data for quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Experience providing OT assessment and intervention to children and young people.
• Experience leading audit or quality improvement programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide line management to the therapy teams.
• Deliver OT assessment, treatment and advice to children and families.
• Advise on postural management, equipment and independence.
• Develop and communicate a vision for the AHP programme.
• Produce qualitative and quantitative data to evidence service quality.
