Job summary

ADAPT Community Network is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat students under IFSP/IEP/IEP-IFSP plans in our NYC program. Responsibilities include assessments, planning interventions, and communicating progress to families and team members.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, NY licensure, and ASHA CCC; CFY candidates may be supervised. Sign-on bonus of $1,500 applies, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology and active NY licensure/ASHA credentials.
• ASHA CCC required for employed therapists.
• NYSED TSSH certification required with bilingual extension if applicable.
• CFY candidates may be supervised.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language assessment and therapy to students.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP/IFSP/IEP goals.
• Document progress and communicate with parents and team members.
• Assess oral motor development and feeding when needed.
• Utilize AAC devices and augmentative communication approaches.
• Provide supervision to students and CFYs as assigned.
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress notes.
• Collaborate in team meetings and case conferences.
