Job summary

Intermountain Health, at St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO, seeks a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient team. You will assess and treat fine motor skills, sensory processing, executive functioning, and activities of daily living within a collaborative setting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, and SLPs to deliver patient-centered care to young patients, emphasizing care quality, education, and family involvement.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in states where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
• Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled occupational therapy services in an outpatient setting, following professional standards (AOTA).
• Develops care plans with goals based on patient assessments.
• Maintains thorough patient records and completes billing.
• Communicates with patients, families, and other providers about goals and needs.
• Supervises assistants and supports to ensure high-quality care.
