Job summary

Aspris Children's Services is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to support children and young people with autism and complex needs at Queenswood School and Talocher School in Herefordshire. The role offers part-time (2–3 days per week) or full-time (5 days) options across two sites.

You will assess, plan and deliver occupational therapy focused on education, health and wellbeing, working within a multi-disciplinary team and providing bespoke student programmes.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with paediatric populations or autism spectrum disorders.
• Strong understanding of sensory processing and its impact on daily living with education focus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialist assessments and develop intervention plans for children and young people.
• Deliver 1:1 or group therapy sessions and train therapy colleagues.
• Collaborate with education, residential services and health professionals to provide holistic support.
• Monitor progress and write reports to support regulation, motor skills and self-care development.
