Job summary

The Fife Wide Children & Young People’s Occupational Therapy Service, part of NHS Scotland, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 12-month temporary post. You will work with children, young people and families, delivering universal, targeted, and specialist interventions, and manage a generic caseload from birth to school-leaving age.

You will apply evidence-based practice, promote inclusive rights-based approaches, and collaborate with families, schools and multi-agency partners.

Qualifications

• Specialist paediatric occupational therapy competencies.
• Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication with families, schools and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interventions at universal, targeted and specialist levels.
• Manage a generic caseload of children from birth to school-leaving age.
• Apply evidence-based practice to support participation and wellbeing.
• Champion inclusive approaches that empower children and families.
