Job summary

Join our Paediatric Team as a Part-Time Nursing Support Worker in Wales. You will work with Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate care across ward and clinic settings, supporting children and families with dignity and wellbeing.

Under supervision, you will record vital signs, participate in competence-based training, and use Myrddin and paper records to update information. A caring, team-focused approach is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of care and follow CTM UHB policies.
• Accurately record vital signs and report any changes.
• Undergo competence-based training and perform clinical tasks as trained.
• Prioritise the child's needs and adhere to safeguarding guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Follow information governance policies and best practices.
• Utilise Myrddin and paper records to update patient information.
• Assist with data collection for local audits and surveys.
• Work independently when appropriate, within scope and competence.
