Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is recruiting for a Band 5 Paediatric Nurse (RCN) in Rhyl, North Wales. The post offers full-time or part-time hours with competitive hourly rates (£26.00–£52.34). The role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within an NHS Trust setting.

The successful candidate will hold RN registration with the RCN, a nursing degree, and at least six months of clinical experience, with strong teamwork and communication skills to support multidisciplinary care teams.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid RCN registration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team and effectively manage patient care.
• Reasonable adjustments during recruitment or in the workplace can be discussed with the team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Monitor patients’ conditions, perform clinical observations, and respond appropriately to changes.
• Communicate effectively with children, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and ongoing professional development.
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive environment that supports patient recovery and wellbeing.
