Job summary

Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Child and Adolescent Knee Fellow for an eight‑month fixed‑term post, commencing Wednesday 3 February, with a closing date of 7 November 2026.

The fellowship offers training in paediatric soft tissue knee pathology with emphasis on advanced arthroscopic surgery and management of disorders affecting the growing knee, supervised by a renowned faculty in a nationally recognised service.

Qualifications

• GMC registration is required.
• FRCS (Tr & Orth) or overseas equivalent is required.
• Completed basic surgical training approved by a Surgical Royal College.
• Evidence of academic achievement including prizes or publications.
• Presentations at regional, national or international meetings.

Responsibilities

• Refer to job description and person specification for main duties.
• Develop specialist knowledge in paediatric soft tissue knee pathology.
• Gain experience in advanced arthroscopic knee surgery and complex cases.
