Job summary

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Fellow in joint reconstruction on a 9-month fixed term contract. The appointee will have elective orthopaedic joint reconstruction experience and be interested in developing their skills in prosthetic joint infections, revision of lower limb arthroplasty and limb salvage.

The post holder will actively participate in the Hospital's clinical audit programme and provide teaching and advice to medical students

Qualifications

• Registration with the GMC with a licence to practice.
• FRCS (Orthopaedic) or an appropriate higher surgical qualification.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the Hospital's clinical audit programme.
• Provide teaching and advice to medical students during oncology attachments.
• Engage in ongoing research and audit commitments with weekly research sessions.
