Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in a high-volume, high-acuity emergency center in Florida. Board-certified or board-eligible PEM physicians are welcome; Florida licensure is required or eligible.

You'll work with experienced nurses, support staff and physicians, with opportunities to teach, collaborate on quality improvement, and participate in the Johns Hopkins Medicine network's multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. As part of our nationally recognized children’s hospital, you’ll work alongside experienced nurses, support staff, and fellow physicians in a dynamic and supportive environment that emphasizes excellence in pediatric care.

About The Opportunity

• Certified as a designated Pediatric Trauma Center by the Florida Department of Health.
• 26-bed Emergency Center, with plans to expand to 32 beds to meet growing demand.
• 41,000+ annual visits, offering a high-volume, high-acuity clinical experience.
• PEMs staff 50 hours of coverage per day with additional hours by a Pediatrician and APPs.
• Work approximately 14 shifts per month, rotating through days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Opportunity to teach, collaborate, and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
• Board Certified preferred. New grads are welcome to apply.
