Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow is seeking passionate and dedicated PE Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Bedford and the surrounding areas of Bedfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to gain valuable experience in supportive school environments, with opportunities for Short-term, long-term placements and permanent roles.

The role involves delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, teaching within your subject

Qualifications

  • Hold QTS or relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
  • Strong subject knowledge in your specialist subject.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable).
  • Teach within your subject specialism and occasionally other subjects.
  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assessing and supporting student progress.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
