Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow is seeking passionate MFL teachers to cover secondary schools in Luton and surrounding areas. Positions offer flexible short-term, long-term, and permanent placements across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 where applicable.

Applicants should hold QTS or equivalent, have recent UK secondary school experience, and be able to demonstrate strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management. DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

  • Hold QTS or relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
  • Strong subject knowledge within your specialism (MFL).
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable).
  • Teach within your subject specialism and occasionally other subjects.
  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Assess and support student progress.

Job description

Teaching Tomorrow is seeking passionate and dedicated MFL Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Luton and the surrounding areas of Bedfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to gain valuable experience in supportive school environments, with opportunities for Short-term, long-term placements and permanent roles.

The role:
  • Delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable)
  • Teaching within your subject specialism and occasionally other subjects
  • Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Assessing and supporting student progress

Requirements:
  • Hold QTS or relevant teaching qualifications and proven classroom experience
