Job summary

Aspire People are delighted to partner with a welcoming Cardiff secondary school to recruit an enthusiastic PE Teacher for an immediate start. This long-term opportunity offers KS3/KS4 teaching, with KS5 experience desirable but not essential, in a supportive and high-performing environment.

You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based PE lessons, encourage participation and teamwork, support extracurricular sports and school events, and help create a positive, inclusive learning

Qualifications

• QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
• Recent experience teaching PE in a UK secondary school.
• Enhanced DBS on update service.

Responsibilities

• Teaching PE across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
• Delivering engaging practical and theory-based PE lessons.
• Encouraging participation, teamwork, confidence, and a love of physical activity.
• Supporting extracurricular sports, clubs, and school sporting events.

The Role:

• Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
• Delivering engaging practical and theory-based PE lessons

• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
• Have recent experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school
• Be passionate about inspiring young people through sport and physical education
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
