Job summary

Aspiring Cardiff secondary school is seeking a passionate PE teacher for an immediate start on a long-term basis. You will deliver PE across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 experience desirable but not essential, and contribute to sport, wellbeing and pupil achievement in a supportive school community.

With a strong leadership team and great facilities, you’ll join a collaborative staff environment, help lead extracurricular activities, and inspire students through physical education.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
• Recent experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.

Responsibilities

• Teach PE across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).

The Role:

• Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)

• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
• Have recent experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school
• Be passionate about inspiring young people through sport and physical education
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
