Job summary

Briscoe Primary School & Nursery is seeking a qualified PE Cover Teacher who is ambitious and passionate about education. The successful candidate will provide Trust-wide PE subject leadership and high-quality PPA cover, planning, developing and delivering inclusive PE lessons across the school, including curriculum development, standards monitoring and promoting participation in sport.

Qualifications

• Qualified PE teacher with appropriate UK teaching status.
• Experience delivering inclusive PE and leading PE initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead PE across the school and provide PPA cover.
• Plan, develop and deliver inclusive PE lessons.
• Develop curriculum and monitor PE standards.
• Promote participation in sport and lead extra-curricular clubs.
• Organise school and Trust level sporting events and partnerships.
