Job summary

SF Partners in Birmingham is seeking an ACA-qualified FP&A Manager to work with the Finance Director, applying commercial and analytical skills from practice to industry, with exposure to acquisitions and investment appraisals.

You will lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, develop financial models, analyse performance, support acquisitions, and interact with private equity investors; a hybrid work pattern is offered.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified with strong technical and analytical background.
• Experience in Transaction Services, Financial Due Diligence or Deal Advisory at manager level.
• Strong financial modelling skills and ability to interpret complex financial information.
• Understanding of business performance, profitability and cash flow behind the numbers.

Responsibilities

• Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting with insight into performance and opportunities.
• Developing financial models to support commercial decisions and investment appraisals.
• Analysing financial performance, identifying drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Supporting acquisitions and investment analysis and other commercial projects.
• Gaining exposure to PE investors and their reporting requirements.
• Producing meaningful financial analysis and management information for senior leadership.
• Improving financial planning, reporting and analysis as the business grows.
