Lithia UK is looking for a Dent Repair Technician (PDR) at Evans Halshaw Ford Merthyr Tydfil to assess damage, perform Paintless Dent Repairs, prepare surfaces and estimate repair times to deliver high-quality workmanship.

You will work independently within a busy workshop, maintaining detailed records and ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer standards, while supporting a safe, productive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ in Vehicle Body Repair or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a Dent Repair Technician or in a similar vehicle body repair role.
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
• A full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assessing vehicle damage and identifying the most effective repair method.
• Carrying out Paintless Dent Repairs (PDR) and removing dents, creases and minor bodywork damage.
• Preparing panels and surfaces for refinishing where required.
• Estimating repair times and costs accurately.
• Maintaining detailed records of completed work.
• Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer and company standards.
• Contributing to a safe, organised and productive workshop environment.
