Evans Halshaw, part of Lithia UK, is expanding its SMART repair team at Ford Merthyr Tydfil and across the UK. We have an exciting opportunity for a SMART Repair Technician to join our busy workshop and contribute to high-standards of cosmetic repairs.

You will carry out SMART repairs, colour matching, wheel repairs and keep up to date with industry techniques. Driving licence required; join our team with generous holidays and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a SMART or Wheel Technician in automotive
• We welcome new to industry applicants with relevant, transferrable skills such as Valeting, detailing or painting
• A full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of SMART repair to a wide range of vehicles in our workshop
• Cosmetic paint repairs working to our internal used car preparation standard
• Mixing and colour matching, painting all repaired areas to a high standard, with a polished finish
• Keeping up to date and learning the industry standards of SMART repair techniques
• Repairing painted or diamond cut wheels that have scrapes and scuffs back to a high standard of re-finish
