Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Proficient computer skills are necessary.
• VOSA approved MOT tester is an advantage.

Work Shift Pattern is 8:00am – 17:30pm (Monday – Friday)

Contracted Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Salary: £33,600-£35,600 (based on experience and qualifications)

Big Motoring World Group is an expanding dealer group that is looking to employ a PDI Technician at our NPC in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving group and work alongside experienced technicians to help and support.

Responsibilities

1. Carrying out routine general servicing and mechanical repairs.
2. Following PDI Process and Procedures in line with company standards.
3. Carrying out all tasks in line with your skills and the business requirements, to the highest quality standards at all times.
4. Completing the final quality check on all vehicles before they receive a fresh MOT licence.
5. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping.

Person Specification

1. The skill range can be level 2 or level 3 qualification.
2. Full UK Driving Licence is required.
3. Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.
4. Literate, numerate, and proficient computer skills.
5. Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details.
6. Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work.
7. Prior experience of working to efficiency targets.
8. Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work.
9. Team player.
10. VOSA approved MOT tester is an advantage but not essential.
11. Dealer experience preferable but not essential.
12. Your own set of tools (toolbox supplied).
