Job summary

Vospers Group in Exeter is seeking a proactive PDI & Compound Support Coordinator to manage the movement, preparation, and tracking of vehicles across the dealership. You will coordinate compounds, handle key storage, and support vehicle readiness for delivery.

The role requires a full, clean UK driving licence, strong organisational skills, and the ability to multitask. Automotive experience is desirable, with opportunities for growth within a family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive, reliable and flexible approach.
• Previous automotive/dealership experience (desirable).
• Experience in vehicle logistics, stock control, or workshop coordination (desirable).
• Understanding of PDI processes and vehicle preparation (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles from compound for pre-delivery inspection.
• Maintain accurate drive and compound stock records.
• Manage and control key storage.
• Collect accessories from Parts to support vehicle preparation.
• Carry out ad hoc vehicle movements, including to workshops, body shops, and other group sites.
• Check in transporters and inspect incoming vehicles.
• Fuel and charge vehicles to ensure readiness for operational use.
• Inspect incoming vehicles and report any transit damage in line with company procedures.
