Job summary
Octane Recruitment Ltd is supporting a busy main dealership in Colchester to recruit a PDI Technician. The role requires a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications
- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections on new and used vehicles.
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify defects.
- Carry out initial servicing, minor repairs and adjustments.
- Prepare hybrid and electric vehicles for customer handover.
- Ensure vehicles meet manufacturer quality and safety standards.
- Accurately complete inspection reports and workshop documentation.
- Report defects and additional repair requirements to the Aftersales Manager.
