Job summary

TEKNIKAL Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a well-established plant hire company in Swindon to recruit a PDI Technician. You will prepare, service and maintain plant machinery to the highest standards, ensuring readiness for hire.

The role requires NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent, a full UK driving licence, and a valid CSCS card. Strong English communication and the ability to work independently are essential.

• Proven experience maintaining and repairing plant machinery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PDI checks to ensure equipment is ready for hire.
• Carry out routine inspections, diagnostics, basic servicing, maintenance and repairs on plant machinery.
• Complete accurate maintenance and service records.
• Work independently and within a team environment.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Follow all Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.

Role

You will be responsible for ensuring plant machinery is fully prepared, serviced, and maintained to the highest standards.

What You'll Need

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).

• Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage your workload effectively.
