SANY Group in the UK is seeking a Field based PDI Engineer to join our growing team. You will travel to our machine distribution yards in Calne, near Chippenham and Stockbridge to inspect arriving equipment against quality standards.

You will carry out visual inspections, take photos, complete paperwork, update the CRM, and manage monthly stock checks. A direct approach, strong initiative and ability to work autonomously are valued, with DBS clearance required.

Formación

• Eye for detail and a customer-focused approach to quality.
• Basic knowledge of Excel/Word and ability to update the inhouse CRM system.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately.
• Experience working with heavy plant equipment and some mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to operate excavators, telehandlers, and wheeled loading shovels safely (training provided).
• Self-starter with initiative; able to work autonomously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• DBS check required due to data security rules.

Responsabilidades

Due to fast growing business in UK, currently we are looking for a Field based PDI Engineer to join our young and friendly team.

Key responsibilities and duties:

• Travel to our machine distribution yard in Calne, Near Chippenham and Stockbridge
• Inspecting machines when they arrive in the country to ensure the equipment meets the correct quality standards and accurately recording information of defects.
• Carryout visual inspections, take photos, complete relevant paperwork and update on the CRM system,
• Carry out monthly stock inspections if machines are stored in the yard for set periods of time.
• Control the machine inspection tracker sheet.
• Keep all machines and attachments in the correct locations in a tidy manner.
• Fit DataTag kits to machines and ensure all paperwork is complete and submitted to process

Requirements for the role:

• Most importantly is an eye for detail and a customer focussed approach to quality
• Basic knowledge of Excel / Word programmes and the ability to update the inhouse CRM system
• Being able to complete paperwork accurately.
• Experience working with Heavy Plant equipment with some mechanical knowledge.
• Being able to operate excavators, Telehandlers, Wheeled loading shovels in a safe manner is desirable although training will be given.
• Demonstrated self-starter with strong initiative skills and a can-do positive attitude; the ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to work effectively in a team when required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience of carrying out risk assessments and health & safety knowledge within the workplace is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel independently to the job site.
• A clean DBS check will be required due to machine DataTag security rules
