Job summary

RMS Recruitment is seeking a candidate for a temp-to-perm Vehicle Inspection Operative in Killingholme. Salary is £12.95 per hour, paid weekly on Fridays. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm (37.5 hours). Location is Killingholme.

You will carry out pre-delivery inspections, vehicle testing, exterior/interior inspections, and complete paperwork while maintaining health and safety standards. A full UK driving licence is required and overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• Aged 22 or over (for insurance purposes).
• Full UK Driving Licence (less than 6 penalty points, no DR10 offences).
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and happy working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspection checks including packaging removal, install protections, fluid level checks, function checks and model protection checks.
• Perform vehicle testing to ensure interior specs, on-board computer and electrical accessories function correctly, and all lights/safety features work.
• Inspect exterior and interior of vehicles, check spare wheel and jack, report any damage to management.

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Salary: £12.95ph, paid weekly every Friday

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Overtime available if wanted). Working hours:7.30am-4.30pm

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for carrying out pre delivery inspection checks including: Removal or manufacturing vehicle packaging, installation of transmit protections, fluid level checks, function checks, check for any spare items required, Dring and adding model specification protections.
• Responsible for performing appropriate testing on vehicles including: Checking they meet interior specification, check and on-board computer and electrical accessories, testing all light and safety features.
• Responsible for performing inspections and quality checks including: Inspecting the exterior of the vehicle for damage, check the interior, check spare wheel and jack.
• Report any damage and discrepancies to the management team.
• Completing all relevant paperwork
• To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.

What We're Looking For:
