Job summary

First Bus in Taunton is hiring a PCV Shunter/Fueller to keep vehicles ready for service. You will work at Taunton Depot (TA1 2EH), 39 hours per week on a full-time basis, with shifts Mon-Fri 4:30am–12:30pm and a 11:30am finish on Fridays, earning £13.73 per hour.

You must hold a PCV driving licence. Key duties include shunting buses around the depot, driving to fuelling stations, cleaning duties, and basic site maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PCV driving licence to be considered.
• Experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Shunting buses around the depot ready for shift, next clean or maintenance
• Driving buses to fuelling stations and returning to depot
• Carry out vehicle and depot cleaning duties, including exterior cleaning and internal cleans
• Carry out general site maintenance as required
• Ensure oil and water top ups are carried out as required
• Record details of all work and complete necessary sheets/record cards
