Job summary

Dynamic Resourcing is seeking a PCV Shunter Driver for a role based in Portsmouth. You will operate buses inside the depot and move them to the adjacent bus yard, following the parking plan and safety rules. On-site training is provided and there is potential for a temp-to-perm progression.

You will work 4.30pm to 1.00am, Tuesday to Saturday, 5 days a week, with weekly pay. A full UK driving licence and PCV licence are required, along with safety shoes and Hi-Vis clothing.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible and able to work varying hours.
• Must hold a PCV licence and a full UK driving licence.
• Safety Shoes and Hi-Vis clothing are required.
• On-site training available to bring new drivers up to standard.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses through the depot and park according to the parking plan.
• Fuel and clean buses as part of duties.
• Maintain company records and complete paperwork.
• Follow health and safety policies and company procedures.
• Carry out any other duties as instructed by Depot Management.

Role: PCV Shunter Driver

Rate Of Pay: £13.50 per hour

Location: Portsmouth

We are looking for a number of Shunter Driver for one of our client's Bus Depot.

You will be required to operate and drive around buses in and out of Depot and across the street to the Bus Yard.

Basic Duties:

• Drive the buses through the depot and park as per parking plan
• Fueling and Cleaning Buses.
• Maintain Company standards and ensure that all records are maintained correctly
• Complete all associated paperwork
• To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory relating to hours of work, health & safety, and working practices, abide by all company working policies and procedures
• Any other duties as instructed by the Depot Management.

Requirements:

• Must be flexible.
• Must have a PCV licence
• Safety Shoes and Hiviz
• A full UK Driving Licence is essential.

On the job training can be provided.

You will be working from 4.30pm to 1.00am (Tuesday to Saturday) working 5 days per week.

Rates of Pay: £13.50 per hour

Immediate Start and paid Weekly.

This could be a temp to perm position
