Job summary

Phoenix Health PCN is recruiting an Operations and Workforce Lead to drive operational delivery, workforce planning, and project implementation across network practices. The role collaborates with the Clinical Director and Practice Managers to ensure PCN resources are deployed effectively to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Experience of operational management within healthcare, primary care, NHS or comparable environment.
• Experience of workforce planning, coordination or resource management.
• Experience of leading projects and service improvement initiatives.
• Experience of working with GP practices or Integrated Care Systems.
• Knowledge of Primary Care Networks and PCN DES requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the operational delivery of PCN services and programmes.
• Support the implementation of PCN priorities and strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain effective systems to improve efficiency across the network.
• Monitor progress against agreed work plans and objectives.
• Identify operational risks and escalate issues appropriately.
• Support service development and quality improvement initiatives across member practices.
• Lead workforce planning activities across the PCN.
• Coordinate deployment and utilisation of ARRS-funded roles.
• Monitor workforce capacity, utilisation and productivity.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and retention initiatives.
• Develop workforce reports and recommendations to inform decisions.
• Support workforce development and training programmes.
• Monitor delivery against PCN contractual requirements and priorities.
• Analyse workforce, activity and service data to identify trends.
• Support performance dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• Provide assurance reports to the Clinical Director and PCN Board.
• Coordinate the implementation of new services, initiatives and projects.
• Support transformation and service redesign programmes.
• Track project milestones, risks and outcomes.
• Facilitate collaboration between practices and stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
