Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking a proactive PCN Clinical Pharmacist to join their team. The role involves assessing and managing minor illnesses, prescribing medications, and collaborating with GPs and nurses. Ideal candidates will have Independent Prescribing qualifications and prior experience in minor illness management. The position offers a salary between £56,000 to £62,000 depending on experience and comprehensive training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Previous primary care experience required.
  • Experience in Minor Illness Clinics is preferred.
  • Ability to supervise junior pharmacists and/or technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations for minor illnesses.
  • Prescribe medications safely and responsibly within scope of practice.
  • Manage pathology results including blood tests.
