AVD Appoint is recruiting a PCB CAD Layout Engineer to join a Berkshire-based engineering group delivering advanced, multi-layer PCB designs.

You will create complex multilayer layouts in Altium, optimise components for manufacturability and reliability, and collaborate on digital, mixed signal and power electronics projects across six+ layer boards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as a PCB CAD Layout Engineer or similar.
• Experience with Altium.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimise multilayer PCB layouts in Altium.
• Ensure manufacturability, reliability and signal integrity across >6-layer boards.

PCB CAD Layout Engineer - Berkshire - up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits - REF 2037

I am currently recruiting a PCB CAD Layout Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Berkshire. Salary up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits.

They work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of technology, being able to deliver innovative solutions to industry problems and challenges many of their competitors are unable to solve. As a result, they have some of the most highly capable engineers within their business.

To support the growth of the business and in line with current workload they have the need to appoint a PCB CAD Layout Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as a PCB CAD Layout Engineer you will be responsible for creating complicated and technically advanced multilayer PCB Layouts in Altium. You will be optimising components to ensure best performance, ease of manufacture and assembly as well as ensuring there is a high degree of reliability. Most of the designs are more than 6 layers and when routing you will be involved with digital systems, mixed signal, power electronics and flex-rigid PCB technologies.

Ideal Requirements:

• At least 2 years' experience as a PCB CAD Layout Engineer, PCB Design Engineer, PCB Layout Engineer, PCB Designer or similar
• Experience with Altium
