Job summary

AVD Appoint Ltd in Berkshire is seeking a PCB CAD Layout Engineer to design and optimise advanced multilayer PCB layouts using Altium.

You'll create complex layouts (6+ layers), optimise components for performance and manufacturability, and ensure reliability across digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics applications. The role is permanent and offers a salary up to £60,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as a PCB CAD Layout Engineer, PCB Design Engineer, PCB Layout Engineer, PCB Designer or similar
• Experience with Altium

Responsibilities

• Create complicated and technically advanced multilayer PCB layouts (6+ layers) in Altium
• Optimize components for performance, manufacturability and reliability
• Work with digital, mixed-signal, power electronics and flex-rigid PCB technologies
