Job summary

AVD Appoint is seeking an Altium PCB Design Engineer in Berkshire to work on demanding multi-layer PCB projects. You will create complex layouts, optimise components for performance and manufacturability, and ensure high reliability across digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics domains.

The role is permanent with a salary up to £55,000 plus bonus and benefits, and offers a collaborative environment that values engineering excellence and staff retention.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience as an Altium PCB Design Engineer, PCB Layout Engineer, PCB Designer or similar.
• Experience with Altium software.

Responsibilities

• Create complicated and technically advanced PCB designs and layouts in Altium.
• Optimise components for best performance, manufacturability and reliability.
• Route multi-layer designs including digital, mixed-signal, power electronics and flex-rigid tech.
