Morson Group is seeking experienced IT Deployment Engineers for a large PC Refresh programme in Wolverhampton. The role involves hands-on hardware deployment, OS imaging with SCCM, and data migration to ensure minimal business disruption.

The positions require strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and a focus on delivering high-quality IT support throughout the deployment lifecycle. Long-term options may arise.

Formación

• Experience delivering desktop or laptop deployment projects.
• Experience with Windows 11 deployments.
• Knowledge of SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager).
• Imaging and configuring end-user devices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps.
• Basic networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a project team.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deployment schedules.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy and configure new desktop and laptop hardware.
• Image devices using SCCM.
• Swap legacy hardware with new equipment per deployment schedules.
• Migrate user profiles, data and settings where applicable.
• Install and configure approved software and applications.
• Perform hardware health checks and QA testing prior to deployment.
• Troubleshoot imaging, hardware and software issues during deployment.
• Ensure devices are joined to the domain correctly.
• Update asset management systems and deployment documentation.
• Maintain records of installations and hardware returns.
• Package, collect and return replaced equipment per procedures.
• Escalate technical issues to project leads or support teams.
• Adhere to schedules, H&S guidelines and policies.
