Job summary

Impellam is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager for a Hybrid role (home and office-based) in the UK. You will lead BAU payroll operations, support a major transition from SAP to Oracle Fusion, and drive process improvements while ensuring high-quality payroll services.

You will collaborate with HR and Finance, manage stakeholders, and guide the payroll team through changes, ensuring compliance and data protection. This contract role runs until January 29, 2027.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing payroll operations within a complex organisation.
• Proven knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Experience with payroll systems implementations or large-scale transformations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely payroll services, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.
• Support transition from SAP to Oracle Fusion (Redwood) and contribute to testing and implementation.
• Provide leadership and capacity across the payroll function.
• Ensure payroll processes are efficient, customer focused and well-controlled.
• Build relationships with HR, Finance and stakeholders across the organisation.
• Offer expert guidance on payroll issues and resolve complex queries.
