Job summary

Portfolio Payroll is recruiting a Payroll Team Leader on a 12-month fixed-term contract for a giant well known business. The role will manage a full start-to-finish monthly payroll for 2000+ staff and liaise with internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop a small team of Payroll Specialists, perform reconciliations and audits, and support the Payroll Manager. The position offers hybrid working, pension, flexible start/finish, free parking, close to station, and private

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll teams.
• Proven ability to run monthly payroll for 2000+ staff.
• Knowledge of statutory deductions: SMP, SPP, SSP, NI, PAYE.
• Experience performing payroll reconciliations and audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end payroll service for a large monthly payroll.
• Administer statutory deductions and pension contributions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Develop and coach a small team of Payroll Specialists.
• Support the Payroll Manager when required.

• Administering all statutory deductions including SMP, SPP, SSP, N.I, PAYE

• Perform regular payroll reconciliations and payroll audits
• Develop a small team of Payroll Specialists
• Support the Payroll Manager when required
