TPF Recruitment is supporting a reputable accountancy practice in Canterbury to appoint a Payroll Supervisor. You will oversee day-to-day payroll delivery across a varied client portfolio, supervise the payroll team and support department growth.

The role suits an experienced Payroll Senior or Supervisor seeking greater responsibility, with emphasis on quality payroll service, compliance with current legislation and development of junior colleagues.

Competenze

• Strong payroll experience, ideally in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau.
• Excellent technical payroll knowledge and understanding of current legislation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Mansioni

• Managing a varied portfolio of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Supervising and supporting payroll team members, including reviewing their work and providing guidance.
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and handling payroll queries professionally.
• Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation and managing related reporting.
• Overseeing workplace pension and auto-enrolment requirements, including assessments and submissions.
• Assisting with the training and development of junior payroll staff.
• Supporting the Payroll Manager to improve systems and contribute to department growth.
