Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Milton Keynes is seeking a Payroll Systems Project Specialist to lead complex HR and payroll system projects, ensuring alignment with our digitisation strategy, programme goals, and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate across Payroll (ResourceLink), Time & Attendance (Kronos), HRMS (Oracle), and Finance, document systems, define to-be designs, and drive improvements while mentoring teams.

Qualifications

• Ideally 3+ years in-depth HR, payroll or relevant project experience.
• Expert understanding of transactional HR processes related to payroll systems.
• Ability to analyse payroll systems and processes and provide recommendations for optimizing them.
• Good general business and operational management experience.
• Basic technical knowledge of global and regional systems, ideally Oracle HCM Cloud, Kronos Workforce Central and ResourceLink.

Responsibilities

• Engage with regional/country HR stakeholders; provide solutions for medium/high complexity payroll system issues.
• Support vendor management for third-party payroll systems.
• Collaborate with Global BPO and HRDO teams on design approvals.
• Document current systems/processes, legal requirements, and internal controls.
• Develop as-is and to-be designs aligned with digitalisation strategy.
• Collect and assess improvement needs from business requirements and change requests.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives; evaluate cost/benefit and recommend changes.
• Escalate unresolved changes or priorities.
• Create scripts, lead User Acceptance Testing, and update system-level documentation.
