Job summary

Trustmarque Ultima is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage day-to-day payroll operations for two payrolls covering 650 colleagues. You will maintain payroll data, handle employee changes, validate outputs, and support audit trails across the Group.

The role works with HR, Finance and external payroll providers to ensure timely, accurate payroll delivery while upholding data protection standards and providing high-quality employee service.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end payroll processes and timetables.
• Experience handling starters, leavers, pay changes, deductions and benefits.
• Proficient in Excel with reconciliations and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy under deadline pressures.
• Understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll inputs and changes for two payrolls across 650 colleagues.
• Maintain accurate payroll records in systems and produce audit trails.
• Validate inputs/outputs and perform reconciliations (gross-to-net, headcount, payroll-to-ledger).
• Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers with professional communication.
• Support system changes, testing, and implementation activities.
