Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our busy payroll team. This hands-on role supports the weekly and monthly payroll process for a large number of temporary and contract workers, ensuring hours are received, checked and processed accurately and on time.

You will work with recruitment, operations, vendors, and local authorities, handling queries, setting up new workers, processing leavers, and maintaining records to ensure payroll accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll or payroll administration.
• Able to work with large volumes of data.
• Willingness to learn and develop payroll knowledge.
• Strong Excel and data-entry skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly and monthly payroll processing.
• Set up new workers and bookings; check timesheets.
• Process leavers and finishers; maintain records.
• Produce and check payroll reports; assist with reconciliations.
• Respond to worker, consultant and client payroll queries.
