Job summary

JDR Cable Systems Ltd is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our HR/Finance team in Blyth. You will ensure employees are paid accurately and on time, in line with contractual terms and statutory requirements.

You will manage end-to-end payroll, maintain payroll data across systems, handle auto-enrolment and HMRC submissions, and support audits while providing a responsive service to employees and line managers.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll and/or HRIS systems (e.g. SAP, ADP, Sage).
• Knowledge of statutory payments, PAYE, RTI submissions and pension auto-enrolment administration.
• Experience working within a shared HR and Finance reporting structure.
• Demonstrable experience of supporting end-to-end payroll, ideally in manufacturing or multi-site environments.

Responsibilities

• Process the end-to-end monthly payroll cycle, including starters, leavers, changes, overtime, bonuses and deductions.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Reconcile payroll data with timesheets and HR records prior to payroll runs.
• Administer statutory payments and third-party deductions per legislation.
