Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a temporary 18-month role in Chesterton, Newcastle-under-Lyme. The job involves end-to-end payroll processing, including starters, leavers, changes, and various deductions.

You will reconcile weekly and monthly payrolls, respond to employee inquiries, and collaborate with HR and finance to ensure on-time, accurate payments. The role requires 3–5 years of payroll experience, proficiency with SAP, ADP or WorkDay, and a detail-oriented, team-oriented

Responsibilities

• End to end payroll processing for starters, leavers and changes.
• Handle adjustments (overtime), SSP, SMP, SPP, and earnings attachments.
• Process and reconcile monthly and weekly payrolls to stay compliant.
• Respond to employee and stakeholder payroll inquiries promptly.
• Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies timely.
• Collaborate with HR and finance to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Maintain strong control environment and complete reconciliations.
