A leading bank is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a 12-month full-time contract in Northampton. The role involves managing payroll functions, ensuring accurate calculations, and compliance with regulations. Successful candidates will have extensive payroll experience, strong decision-making skills, and a focus on process improvement.
This role is responsible for specialist payroll support in the delivery of the UK and Crown Dependency payrolls. The role manages critical payroll activities to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the monthly payroll, such as running the gross to net calculations, providing input to change projects (both business and government-led), and administering legislative documentation such as P60 and P11D. The role also involves effective management of escalations for the tier 2 payroll team, providing guidance and support through to resolution.
