A leading financial job board seeks a Payroll Specialist for a 12-month full-time contract in Bedford. The successful candidate will oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and manage complex payroll queries. Strong expertise in payroll administration and decision-making is required to enhance operational efficiency and manage escalations effectively.
This role is responsible for specialist payroll support in the delivery of the UK and Crown Dependency payrolls. The role manages critical payroll activity to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the monthly payroll, such as running the gross to net calculations, providing input to change projects both business and government led, and administering legislative documentation such as P60 and P11D. The role provides effective management of escalations for the tier 2 payroll team, offering guidance and support through to resolution.

This is a 12-month full-time contract based in Northampton.
To manage payroll functions, including calculating employee pay, withholding taxes, and maintaining accurate payroll records, while dealing with complex pay queries.
