Qualifications

• Experience as Payroll Specialist or similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable analysing and improving payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly payroll delivery, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Review existing payroll processes to identify efficiency and accuracy improvements.
• Carry out payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with the HR team to resolve payroll queries.
• Recommend and implement payroll process improvements where appropriate.
• Assist with general payroll administration and support the wider team as needed.

Joining a friendly and supportive team, this role has been created to help review and strengthen existing payroll processes during a period of growth. Rather than simply processing a monthly payroll from start to finish, you'll take the lead on checking current processes, identifying improvements and ensuring everything is running as efficiently and accurately as possible.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys payroll but is equally happy getting into the detail and improving the way things are done.

The Role

• Support the delivery of the monthly payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Review existing payroll processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Carry out payroll audits and reconciliations, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant.
• Work closely with the wider HR team to resolve payroll queries.
• Recommend and implement payroll process improvements where appropriate.
• Assist with general payroll administration and provide support to the wider team as needed.

This role would suit an experienced Payroll Specialist who enjoys working in a varied role and has a keen eye for detail. You'll be confident reviewing processes, happy working independently and able to hit the ground running.
