Connect Appointments is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Glasgow City Centre for a 2-week cover. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with a pay rate of £19.23 per hour.

You will handle payroll processing, VAT returns, and related reporting while providing general administration support. The ideal candidate has payroll experience, especially with SAGE, and demonstrates excellent communication, numeracy, and strong organisational skills.

Connect Appointments have an opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to provide 2-week paternity leave cover in Glasgow City Centre!

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Pay rate: £19.23 per hour

Working as a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Processing of payroll information and VAT returns
• Payment reconciliation
• Assisting in preparing payroll related reports and documents
• General administration/filing

The successful Payroll Specialist will have previous experience in administration and payroll, as well as:

• Previous experience in payroll processing, ideally using SAGE (essential)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• The ability to work as part of a team
