Connect Appointments is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Glasgow City Centre for a 2-week cover. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm with a pay rate of £19.23 per hour.

You will handle payroll processing, VAT returns, and related reporting while providing general administration support. The ideal candidate has payroll experience, especially with SAGE, and demonstrates excellent communication, numeracy, and strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing, preferably with SAGE.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Processing of payroll information and VAT returns.
• Payment reconciliation.
• Assisting in preparing payroll related reports and documents.
• General administration/filing.
